2. Share your fondest memory from your time at Jordan University?

One of the most memorable aspects of my time at Jordan University was the vibrant community of friends, professors, and volunteers that surrounded me. My experience extended far beyond academics; it was about the life lessons learned through engaging with people and initiatives that enriched my understanding of the world. Participating in various volunteering activities allowed me to contribute to the community, connect with people from diverse backgrounds, and understand the value of service and teamwork, which have since become essential aspects of my personal and professional life.

The friendships I built were a defining part of my experience, studying together, sharing late-night conversations about our ambitions, and celebrating each other's achievements. We weren't just classmates; we were a support network that continuously motivated one another to push our limits. My professors also played a significant role, providing mentorship and encouragement and often engaging with us beyond the curriculum, which built a strong foundation of confidence and curiosity that I carry with me today.

3. In one word, how would you describe Jordan University?
 transformative

4. Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you?

At the University of Jordan, my academic experiences were pivotal in shaping my analytical skills, dedication to continuous learning, and entrepreneurial drive. The rigorous coursework provided a solid foundation in engineering principles, but it was the application of these principles in real-world projects that truly sparked my interest in creating solutions beyond the classroom. This focus on practical problem-solving inspired me to see challenges as opportunities—a mindset essential for entrepreneurship.

The mentorship from professors encouraged me to combine technical expertise with a visionary approach, emphasizing creativity and critical thinking. Working with classmates on complex projects taught me the importance of resilience, teamwork, and resourcefulness, all of which have been instrumental in my journey. With these skills and insights, I eventually made the decision to leave my professional career and build my own business.

My time at UJ instilled in me not only a disciplined work ethic but also the confidence to take bold steps and pursue innovative solutions independently. This foundation has been invaluable as I navigate the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.

5. Discuss what fascinated you about your chosen course of study?

What initially fascinated me about studying electrical engineering was the blend of logic, precision, and creativity involved in understanding and designing complex systems. I genuinely enjoyed the challenges and rigor of engineering, especially as it pushed me to think analytically and approach problems with a structured mindset. However, if I could go back in time, I would likely choose to study economics and business, fields that align closely with my passion for entrepreneurship.

That said, I still believe my engineering degree provided invaluable skills that have been crucial in my entrepreneurial journey. The problem-solving approach ingrained in engineering has taught me how to break down complex challenges, think critically, and develop innovative solutions—qualities that have helped me navigate the dynamic world of business. While my interests have evolved, I'm grateful for the strong foundation in analytical thinking that my engineering background provided.

6. Offer advice to graduating students preparing to enter the workforce?

My advice to graduating students entering the workforce is to embrace learning as a lifelong journey. Now is the perfect time to build on what you know by taking as many courses as possible, whether in your field or areas that broaden your skill set. The workforce today values versatility and continuous learning, so be proactive in seeking knowledge that will keep you adaptable and relevant.Equally important is to stay humble and open to hands-on experience. Look for internship opportunities, even if they're outside your comfort zone or not immediately in line with your ideal role. Internships provide practical insights, real-world skills, and professional connections that can be instrumental in building a strong foundation.Lastly, if you have the chance, travel and immerse yourself in different cultures. Exposure to diverse experiences opens up new perspectives and fosters personal growth, resilience, and a broader understanding of the world—all essential traits for success in today's globalized work environment. Remember that your journey is just beginning, and the more experiences you embrace, the richer it will be.

7. Reflect on what you wish you had known during your time as a student?

Looking back, I wish I had realized just how much more I could have achieved during my time as a student. At the time, I felt constantly busy, juggling assignments, exams, and extracurriculars. But now, with the perspective of my current responsibilities, I see how much flexibility I truly had back then. I could have taken on even more challenges, explored additional interests, and engaged in more activities that might have enriched my skills and broadened my experience.

This reflection has taught me the value of making the most of every phase of life. For current students, my advice would be to take full advantage of the time, resources, and opportunities university offers—because it's a unique period for growth that's hard to replicate later on.

8. Identify the person who has had the greatest impact on your career?

The person who has had the greatest impact on my career is my father. While he initially worked in government, he was always engaged in a variety of ventures, collaborating with friends and colleagues to create new opportunities. His dedication extended beyond his formal role; he was highly active on both the national and international stages, especially after his retirement.

Seeing his passion for building things, his resilience in pursuing his goals, and his commitment to making a difference left a lasting impression on me. His example taught me the importance of versatility, ambition, and an entrepreneurial spirit—qualities I carry with me in my own career. His influence continues to inspire me to take on new challenges, stay connected to my community, and pursue meaningful work beyond traditional boundaries.
