1.    Introduce yourself?

My name is Suleiman​​​​​ Shannak with​ over​ 20 years of diversified experience as a consultant, mentor and trainer in human resources, strategic planning & execution, business transformation, organizational change & development, program & project management, performance management & entrepreneurship with domain knowledge in diverse sectors including banking, government, NPOs, industrial, transportation, construction, retail, ICT & healthcare.​​​

I have a proven track record working with big four companies (PwC & KPMG) and multinational organizations in the MENA & GCC countries such as Arab Bank, USAID & Talal Abu Ghazaleh. Furthermore, I hold a Master Degree in Organizational Change from Lancaster University (UK) and he is a Certified Strategic Management Consultant, Certified Chartered Management Consultant and Associate for The OR Society.

2.    Share your fondest memory from your time at Jordan University?

My fondest memories come from collaborating with diverse teams on groundbreaking projects, where we transformed our ideas into innovative IT solutions.

3.    In one word, how would you describe Jordan University?

A  lighthouse

4.    Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you?

Studying at JU opened my eyes to the incredible power of teamwork and creativity. It ignited a passion within me to push boundaries and embrace the future together with others, inspiring me to dream bigger and strive for excellence.

5.    Discuss what fascinated you about your chosen course of study?

Since I was a kid, I've been captivated by technology and computers, which naturally led me to pursue a degree in computer science.

6.    Offer advice to graduating students preparing to enter the workforce

Explore and grow; always keep pushing forward.

7.    Reflect on what you wish you had known during your time as a student?

I wish I had prioritized developing strong time management skills earlier, as they would have alleviated stress and improved my productivity.

8.    Identify the person who has had the greatest impact on your career?

A stranger who was seated next to me on a flight and advised me to pursue professional certificates.​
