My name is Solaf Abu Ayash, a dentist and the owner of a specialized dental center in Amman (Pure Dental Centre), which provides services across all dental specialties. 1.    Share your fondest memory from your time at Jordan University?

My most cherished memory at the University of Jordan is the first day I entered the university clinics. It was the first time I felt I was practically applying what I had learned and contributing to relieving patients' pain. That moment was a mix of excitement and responsibility, leaving a profound impact on me.

3.    Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you?

The time I spent at the University of Jordan helped me build a strong foundation for my career. I gained the necessary theoretical and practical skills and faced challenges that helped me develop myself and handle various cases with confidence.

4.    Discuss what fascinated you about your chosen course of study?

What I love about my specialty is that it combines both the medical and aesthetic aspects. Dentistry can transform a patient's life, whether by relieving pain or enhancing their smile, which boosts their self-confidence. Seeing the results reflected on the patient's face is one of the most rewarding moments for me.

5.    Offer advice to graduating students preparing to enter the workforce?

I advise them to be patient and diligent and to seize every opportunity to learn, whether in the clinics or from the experiences of their professors and colleagues. I remind them that learning doesn't end at graduation; the medical profession requires continuous development and staying updated with the latest advancements.

6.    Reflect on what you wish you had known during your time as a student?

I wish I had known that self-confidence is gained through experience and practice and that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. During my studies, I often felt anxious, but now I realize that every experience, whether successful or not, contributes to building our skills.

7.    Identify the person who has had the greatest impact on your career?

One of the doctors at the University of Jordan played a significant role in guiding me. From her, I learned not only the scientific aspect but also the importance of humane interaction with patients. Additionally, my family has always supported me, which has helped me confidently continue advancing in my professional journey.
