1. How would you describe your connection to the University of Jordan and your relationship with it?
My connection to the University of Jordan spans decades, as my father was a professor there for nearly 40 years. During my childhood, I frequently visited the university, playing in its courtyards and forming strong and lasting relationships. At the time, I was also inspired by its faculties, as I was a student at the university's model school. I graduated with its first cohort alongside several of my classmates. Later, I joined the Faculty of Engineering, where I studied mechanical engineering, which became the foundation for my academic journey in my master's and doctoral studies.
I spent wonderful days at the university, filled with beautiful memories. My university classmates were the same friends I had as a child in school, and we became part of the university as alumni. Even after graduation, I continued to visit the university to meet my professors and revisit the faculty where I studied. Today, I am here to deliver a lecture with you on artificial intelligence.
2. How did the university impact your career?
The bachelor's program in engineering at the University of Jordan, which lasted five years, was a remarkable experience. The coursework was complex and advanced, allowing me to acquire sufficient competence and a solid foundation to pursue further studies in my master's and doctoral degrees. This experience equipped me with the confidence to face future challenges successfully.
3. What is your message to current students?
There are no limits to human ambition; you can achieve any goal you set for yourself. There are no boundaries if your goal is clear, you remain persistent, and you dedicate your effort and skills toward it. You will certainly achieve what you aspire to.
4. What is the most memorable moment from your university life?
The social life at the university was excellent. In addition to the lectures and the knowledge we gained, I experienced a wonderful social environment with my fellow students from various faculties. I learned a lot from them, as we used to study together, even with students from different fields such as medicine.
Social life is crucial in shaping one's personality, as it provides you with skills that help you succeed in the future. Success is not only based on academic achievement but also on how you think, interact with society, think outside the box, and embrace others' ideas. These qualities are cultivated during the early years of undergraduate studies, contributing to a person's academic and social development.
5. What is the secret to success or the steps one can follow to achieve it?
Self-confidence, perseverance, and never giving up. If you have a specific goal you want to achieve, stay persistent and work on it with diligence and precision. You will undoubtedly reach it.

The memories of the university are unforgettable. Every year when I visit Jordan, I love visiting the university to reminisce about my time there and revisit the library and lecture halls where I used to attend classes.
7. What do you think of the changes that have taken place at the university?
The university has evolved significantly since my time as a student. New buildings and diverse disciplines have been introduced, reflecting the development of fields and specializations required in the job market, such as information technology and artificial intelligence. The university has kept pace with these advancements by establishing new faculties and academic programs to benefit students.
