1. Introduce yourself? I am Kamal Gharib Abdulrahim Al-Bakri, holding a Bachelor's degree in Law from the University of Jordan (1991), a Master's degree in International Banking and Finance from the University of Salford, UK (2017), and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the same university (2024). Currently, I serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Cairo Amman Bank, a position I have held since January 1, 2008. Prior to this, I was the Deputy General Manager of the bank from 2006 to 2008 and the Head of the Legal Department from 2003 to 2006. I began my professional career as a practicing lawyer in 1993 and founded Itqan Law Firm in both Jordan and Palestine.
In addition to my banking and legal career, I am actively involved in the boards of several companies operating across various sectors, including banking, insurance, tourism, industry, education, real estate, transportation, and financial leasing. Furthermore, I am a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Jordan for two terms and previously served two terms as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Jordan University of Science and Technology. Additionally, I am a member of the Supreme Council of the Military Retirees and Veterans Foundation.

4. Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you? The time I spent at university was fundamental in developing my academic and personal skills, where I learned how to think analytically and manage time effectively. Additionally, this had a significant role in my practical application throughout my professional career.
