About Alumni

1.    Introduce yourself?

I'm a passionate youth activist since 2014 and climate advocate, serving as an ambassador for youth voices through several national and international organizations. I am a certified trainer in green skills, climate change, sustainability, and public speaking, having empowered over 3,000 young people. I'm also the founder of Wein Youth Space, which has supported the development of more than 1,000 youth. My work has been recognized globally, as I've represented youth in high-level events in more than 10 countries. I've also been featured as a success story in leadership and community impact by the Crown Prince Foundation and other prominent institutions.

2.    Share your fondest memory from your time at Jordan University?

My most memorable memories at University of Jordan was organizing and delivering workshops for students on public speaking and green skills. It was incredibly inspiring to see their enthusiasm and growth, and it motivated me even more to continue empowering others.

3.    In one word, how would you describe Jordan University?

           Transformative

4.    Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you?

The University of Jordan played a significant role in building my confidence and shaping my professional journey. Being recognized three times on the university's official website as a success story for my work in climate action, leadership, and community impact was a proud and empowering moment. What made it even more meaningful was becoming the first student from the Biology Department to receive such recognition, it inspired me to keep pushing boundaries and striving for greater impact.

5.    Discuss what fascinated you about your chosen course of study?

As a climate change advocate with a deep passion for research and environmental issues, studying Biology was the perfect fit. It allowed me to explore the science behind ecosystems, sustainability, and the impact of human activity on the environment, strengthening both my knowledge and my ability to advocate effectively for climate action.
6.    Offer advice to graduating students preparing to enter the workforce?

Don't wait for opportunities، create them. Use your skills to solve real problems, network actively, and never underestimate the power of volunteering.

7.    Reflect on what you wish you had known during your time as a student?

I wish I had known the importance of documenting my journey and achievements early on, it helps in building a strong professional profile.
8.    Identify the person who has had the greatest impact on your career?

My greatest inspiration has come from the many incredible people I've met throughout my journey. Each one has contributed in their own way, teaching me resilience, dedication, and the importance of giving back to the community. Their stories and support have shaped my path and fueled my commitment to creating positive change.
