1. Introduce yourself? I am Ahmed Ihsan, a graduate of the University of Jordan in 2007 with a degree in Marketing. I am the founder and owner of FEFFS, which encompasses several brands in the food and restaurant sector, including Burgerizz, B Café, Shic'N, Signetch, and Broodee. I have a great passion for entrepreneurship and also serve as the CEO of Ihsan Jewelry. Additionally, I am a co-founder and partner at Arjwan Agency. I firmly believe in the importance of developing ideas and brands in innovative and distinctive ways, and I strive to deliver exceptional experiences that enhance brand value and open new avenues for growth. |
2. Share your fondest memory from your time at Jordan University? The most delightful thing is meeting friends at the university in the morning. |
3. In one word, how would you describe Jordan University? Lighthouse. |
4. Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you? The university provided me with a strong foundation in marketing and helped me develop communication skills and build a network of relationships. These experiences had a direct impact on me when I later established my own ventures. |
5. Discuss what fascinated you about your chosen course of study? I loved the field of marketing because it combines creativity and analysis. It has an artistic aspect related to how to convey ideas and influence people, which greatly helped me when I developed my own brands. |
6. Offer advice to graduating students preparing to enter the workforce? My advice is not to rely solely on lectures and studying, but to gain practical experience—whether through internships, initiatives, or even by starting their own small project. Real-world life requires courage and initiative far more than just earning a degree. |
7. Reflect on what you wish you had known during your time as a student? I wish I had known back then that passion and perseverance are more important than grades. Success requires patience and a clear vision, not just a high GPA. |
8. Identify the person who has had the greatest impact on your career? I can say that the greatest influence on my career was not any single person, but my ongoing passion for learning and my commitment to self-development through reading, exploration, and diverse experiences. This passion for knowledge has guided my steps and provided me with the motivation to keep progressing and growing in my career.
