About Alumni

1.  Introduce yourself?

I am a graduate of the University of Jordan with a degree in Political Science. I am passionate about education and self-development, and I always strive to acquire practical skills that contribute to building my professional career and serving my community. I also have a deep interest in public affairs and in applying my academic knowledge in a positive way within my professional environment.

2. Share your fondest memory from your time at Jordan University?

My fondest memories were the discussions during political science courses, as the university provided a genuine space for dialogue and the exchange of ideas. This experience strengthened my critical thinking skills and helped me better understand diverse perspectives.

3.  In one word, how would you describe Jordan University?

A launchpad.

4.  Explain how your experiences at UJ shaped you؟

My years of study contributed to shaping my character, developing my political analysis skills, and enhancing my ability to engage in discussion and take informed, knowledge-based positions.

5. Discuss what fascinated you about your chosen course of study؟

What I appreciated most about my major was its direct connection to real-life events and its ability to explain political developments at both the local and international levels, in addition to developing research and analytical skills and understanding relations between states and institutions.

6. Offer advice to graduating students preparing to enter the workforce؟

I advise them to focus on building a strong knowledge base, actively participate in political activities and seminars, and seek practical training opportunities, as combining academic knowledge with hands-on experience is the key to success.

7.  Reflect on what you wish you had known during your time as a student?

The importance of specializing early within the field of political science—such as international relations or public policy—and the significant impact of early training on developing professional skills.

8. Identify the person who has had the greatest impact on your career?

I would like to thank all my professors in the Political Science Department for their academic and intellectual guidance, as well as my family for their continuous support and encouragement.
