Graduated from the College of Engineering and Technology at the University of Jordan in 1986.
Joined the General Security Directorate in 1986 and was appointed to the Laboratories and Criminal Evidence Department. Progressed through ranks and technical expertise until becoming the department's director for seven years (2010-2017) with the rank of Colonel until retirement in 2017.
Expert and lecturer in several fields (toxicology, drugs, explosives, fires, trace evidence, crime scene investigation) locally and internationally.
Contributed to supervising the design of the current Laboratories and Criminal Evidence Department according to the latest international systems and standards during the period (2010-2013).
Participated in various local and international conferences, seminars, and courses, presenting papers in most of them.
Represented the General Security Directorate in several ministries and official bodies in matters within the jurisdiction of the Laboratories and Criminal Evidence Department, such as the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Environment, etc.
Conducted several research and studies in the field of forensic science and the environment.
Received several awards, honors, and accolades both domestically and internationally.
Worked on preparing and completing the Unified Arab Guide for Fire Investigation.
Trained numerous Jordanian and Arab experts and assisted in establishing several Arab forensic laboratories.
Obtained international accreditation ISO 17025 for seventeen tests during his tenure as director of the Laboratories Department.
Participated with the United Nations as an international observer in Bosnia and Herzegovina for a full year.
