He is a Senior Advisor to the Director General at Al Jazeera Media Network. He served as Executive Director of International Operations and Chief Executive Officer at Al Jazeera America, and Deputy Managing Director at Al Jazeera English. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Jordan in 1993. He joined the University of Jordan's graduate program in 1996 to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and later obtained a Master’s degree in Leadership and Strategy from Georgetown University in 2006.
