Al-Sayegh holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration and Political Science from the University of Jordan (1971). He is a member of the Palestinian National Council and a pioneer in the fields of paint manufacturing, engineering industries, real estate, and the banking sector. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Sayegh Group, which encompasses 35 companies spread across the Arab world and Eastern and Western Europe.
He has received numerous honors and awards, including:
- The Order of the Holy Sepulchre from His Holiness Metropolitan Benedictus of the Orthodox Patriarchate in 2002.
- The Hussein Medal for Distinguished Giving of the First Class awarded by King Abdullah II in 2007.
- The "Ernst & Young Award for Excellence for Best Family Business," launched by Ernst & Young Jordan under the patronage of King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein in 2013.
- Honored by the Palestinian-Turkish Businessmen Association for his economic and entrepreneurial role in supporting the Palestinian economy.
- Ranked 55th among the top 100 businessmen in the Middle East, leading the rankings at the level of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, according to Forbes magazine, the Arabic edition.
