Professor Abeer Al-Ghananeem


Professor Al-Ghananeem is an Academic Leadership Fellow of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Past Chair and Commissioner at Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) International Services Program, Board of Trustees member at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI) Jordan, a Global Lead for PWDG 3: Quality Assurance at FIP Workforce Development Hub (WDH), and Associate Edito

r of the FIP Pharmacy Education Journal. Dr. Al-Ghananeem received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Jordan and her Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from the University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy. She has been involved in international education and practice services, such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Jordan as a steering committee member for inter-professional education in health sciences. She also has served in national and international initiatives and innovative projects that connects science with global health matters.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Ghananeem has a successful academic-industrial research collaboration that culminate into several FDA approved drugs such as Revonto™ injection, Lucemyra™ tablets, Subsys™ sublingual spray, Valchor gel, Luciplex, Noctoplex, Addivance, Calmposure, and several dietary supplement products.​
