Dr. Majeda currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at King Hussein Cancer Center, a position she has held since 2008. Her outstanding contributions to nursing excellence and leadership were recognized in 2013 when she received the prestigious HRH Princess Muna Al-Hussein Award (Rafidah Al-Islamiah Medal) for Nursing Leadership in Jordan.
Dr. Al-Ruzzieh plays a vital role in the global nursing community, actively serving on international committees and advisory boards for prominent nursing organizations. Additionally, she is a distinguished advisory board member for four of Jordan's leading nursing schools.
A proud alumna of the University of Jordan, Dr. Al-Ruzzieh earned her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 1995, followed by a Master's degree in 2002 and a Doctorate in Nursing in 2015. Her commitment to professional excellence is further demonstrated through specialized certifications, including the Fundamentals of Magnet® Certificate from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and a Fellowship in Person-Centered Care (FPCC).
